1. Oral History Project from the Perspective of Turkish Cypriot Political Elites (1960-2018)
Start Date: January 2018
End Date: June 2019
Despite the significant number of researchers conducting in-depth studies on Turkish Cypriot political history, no systematic oral history project has been undertaken to compile the perspectives of political elites who directly participated in and shaped political processes. This project aims to fill this gap in the literature and contribute to public awareness and understanding of Turkish Cypriot political history.

2. The “Europe” Discourse of Political Parties in Northern Cyprus
Start Date: February 2019
End Date: January 2020
This project examines Northern Cyprus' unique Europeanization process within the framework of the "Europe" and "European Union" discourses of mainstream Turkish Cypriot political parties. The objective is to analyze the different visions of Europe that political parties construct through their rhetoric on Cyprus' EU membership. Given the ongoing Cyprus issue, the project's findings will also contribute to a deeper understanding of interconnected concepts such as solution, peace, sovereignty, reform, and citizenship within the Turkish Cypriot community.
